The release of Warzone Season 5 Reloaded will signal the midpoint of the season, bringing players new content to rejuvenate the battle royale experience until the next major seasonal update.
Get a glimpse of the upcoming weapons, modes, and features that will be added to the game in the mid-season update.
Warzone Season 5 Reloaded Release Date
The Warzone Season 5 Reloaded update has been scheduled to release on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, as indicated by the in-game timer in the Classified Sector of the Battle Pass.
In the event that there are any changes throughout the season, we will make sure to inform you.
New weapons in Warzone Season 5 Reloaded
The arrival of Season 5 Reloaded introduces two new weapons: the Torque 35 Launcher and the Spear Melee.
Both the Spear and Torque 35 can be obtained in different ways. While the Spear can be acquired through the Classified Sector of the Battle Pass, the Torque 35 is only available through the Weekly Challenge system. Both weapons are highly distinctive at this point in the game.
The Torque is officially categorized as a Launcher, but the Season 5 blog refers to it as a “compound bow with 20 retrievable arrows.”This marks the return of a bow-like weapon to Warzone, with the previous Combat Bow setting a high standard. Don’t miss out on the Torque 35 and its various ammunition options.
The upcoming Melee weapon will provide players with three Spears upon spawning. These Spears can be utilized to either attack enemies from a distance or stab them from up close. Additionally, there is no need to be concerned about running low on ammo, as the thrown Spears can be retrieved from the surrounding environment.
Recon Flyover Event
The Recon Flyover event will utilize a pair of Advanced UAVs in succession to reveal the positions of scanned Warzone Operators. Being marked will result in other players receiving your precise coordinates and converging on your whereabouts. However, this could also prove advantageous as it allows you to pinpoint and eliminate enemy Operators.
Supreme Resurgence Mode Returns to Warzone
The upcoming release of Season 5 Reloaded will see Rebirth Island once again welcoming the Supreme Resurgence mode. Notable modifications in this mode will consist of heightened health, a higher loadout cost, and the addition of top-tier ground loot on the map.
As a result, players are motivated to utilize the “meta-inspired Weapon Blueprints”throughout the entire map. The Spilled Beans camp can be obtained by achieving victory in your first Supreme Resurgence map upon the arrival of the mid-season update.
Elite Contracts
Elite Contracts, which are enhanced versions of regular Contracts, will bring a new level of excitement to Warzone strategy in Season 5 Reloaded. While they offer greater rewards, they also present a greater challenge with shorter time limits.
Whenever an Elite Contract is completed, the resulting rewards are always the same:
- Bonus XP
- Cash
- One of the following
- Foresight Killstreak
- Multiple Redacted Weapons
- Specialist Perk Package
- Advanced UAV
Currently, the STG from Season 5 has risen to the forefront of the meta, so it would be wise to prioritize unlocking the new Assault Rifle without delay.
