Warzone’s collaboration with Black Ops 6 marks a significant moment in the history of Call of Duty’s Battle Royale. The upcoming era has been confirmed to feature exclusive Mastery Camos that will only be available in the free-to-play game.
With a new year comes a new CoD game, and with that comes another major update for Warzone. Since its initial release in 2020, the popular BR has had its fair share of successes and setbacks. However, with the upcoming release of Black Ops 6, it seems that the game is heading in a positive direction.
With the arrival of Omnimovement and the upcoming release of new maps, as well as the return of Verdansk, there is a lot to look forward to. It is now confirmed that the next transition will make a significant impact in the history of Battle Royale.
Despite being traditionally limited to multiplayer and Zombies, Mastery Camos – the most prestigious weapon skins in any CoD game – are now expanding to Warzone. This exciting change was announced at the 2024 CoD Next event, marking the first time Warzone will have its own exclusive Mastery Camos.
Previously, players were able to transfer their multiplayer or Zombies camos to Warzone. However, with the integration of Black Ops 6, players will have the opportunity to earn new Mastery Camos directly in the Battle Royale mode for the first time in CoD history.
Four Mastery Camos have been announced for the upcoming integration in Season 1 of Black Ops 6, set to occur approximately one month after the game’s release on October 25. The four new camos are Gold Tiger, King’s Ransom, Catalyst, and Abyss.

In the present, there is additional information regarding the methods of unlocking Mastery Camos in Warzone. Based on past experiences with Mastery Camos in multiplayer and Zombies, players can expect to face some of the most difficult and time-consuming challenges in the BR mode.
The first two are categorized as status, while Catalyst and Abyss are both animated camos featuring distinctive visual effects.
