The powerful Doom Shotgun, capable of one-shot kills, has made a comeback in Warzone. However, players need not be overly concerned about its reappearance as a lethal weapon.
During the Al Mazrah era, the arrival of the Doom crossover bundle caused a great deal of controversy in Warzone.
The Lockwood 300’s Super Shotgun Blueprint quickly gained dominance in Warzone upon its release, causing fans to label the entire BR experience as “broken”due to the weapon’s overwhelming power.
Despite its initial intention as a powerful short-range weapon, the Doom Shotgun proved to be even more versatile, capable of taking down enemies and opponents from long distances with just a single shot. Despite some initial controversy, the Doom Shotgun has made a comeback in Warzone with its inclusion in the Season 3 Reloaded update.
Despite this statement, the Doom Shotgun remains unavailable in certain Warzone game modes. Despite initially being found in Loaded Resurgence, players have since confirmed that the shotgun is unable to regain its dominant status in any other game mode.
After conducting tests on regular Resurgence matches, popular CoD YouTuber ‘Shady’ confirmed to the community that the Doom Shotgun trick is still disabled for these types of matches.
So apparently the Lockwood 300 doom shotgun is back but only in Loaded Resurgence and only if you use a Blueprint that already have the trigger. i tried it in normal resurgence but it didn’t work. Not really sure LOL pic.twitter.com/stUqFvE117

Once again, this mid-season patch has re-enabled Maelstrom Dual Trigger, which now allows the Shotgun to simultaneously fire both slugs. This has once again transformed the shotgun into a formidable one-shot killing machine.
In contrast to the usual Warzone gameplay where players must search for weapons upon entering a match, Loaded Resurgence enables players to start the game with their pre-selected loadouts already equipped.
While Loaded Resurgence does allow players to activate the Maelstrom Dual Trigger, equipping the Super Shotgun Blueprint or manually equipping it in the Gunsmith will not grant the weapon the same powerful one-shot penetration from any distance.
To restore the Doom Shotgun to its former glory, players must equip a different Blueprint, like Steely Gaze, that includes the attachment.
Be aware that the development team may disable the workaround for equipping the Maelstrom Dual Trigger on the Doom Shotgun in Loaded Resurgence in the upcoming days or weeks. This should not come as a surprise.
