In the game Metaphor: ReFantazio, Imagination is one of the five esteemed Royal Virtues. Elevating your Imagination is generally easier compared to the other Virtues, yet it presents unique time challenges. Here’s a guide on how to effectively boost and maximize your Imagination in Metaphor: ReFantazio.
Ways to Enhance Your Imagination in Metaphor: ReFantazio
Engaging with Local Stories
You can boost your Imagination by listening to specific stories from various NPCs. The Chatty Elder located on Sunlumeo Street in Grand Trad shares a tale that increases your Imagination. Another story comes from the Nostalgic Elder in Thoroughfare Way, Martira, while the Sanctor in Brilehaven offers a third. These stories are found in the game’s primary regions, and you can interact with each NPC numerous times to further elevate your Imagination. Don’t forget to enhance your Wisdom and other Royal Virtues to create a well-rounded character.
Completing Side Quests
Participating in quests such as the Foreword and Prologue will grant you Imagination bonuses. You can access this quest through More in the Akademia: Novelist’s Study; however, advancing a Healer Archetype to level 10 is required, which might take some time. Additional quests from More may also help you raise your Virtues in the future.
Adventurous side quests like Save the Mourning Sakes can also contribute to increasing your Imagination.
Reading Literature
While traveling with your Gauntlet Runner, you can take advantage of opportunities to enhance your Royal Virtues. Given that you’ll spend a lot of time on the road, it’s beneficial to explore additional ways to boost your Imagination outside of the main towns.
There is a free book called “New World Travel Diary” found on your Gauntlet Runner’s bookshelf that allows you to enhance your Imagination until you finish it. As the story progresses, you’ll also acquire another book, “Literacy Workbook,” which serves the same purpose.
Interacting with Party Members
While journeying with your Gauntlet Runner, you may notice an icon above your party members’ heads. This indicates they are available for interaction. Spending time with them will not only boost your Royal Virtues but also strengthen your relationships with those characters.
After defeating Spektos and Zorba, you will start using the Gauntlet Runner. Your initial dialogues with Hulkenberg will involve reminiscing and planning, either with Strohl or Hulkenberg, particularly during the night before the day concludes.
Consider emphasizing interactions with your party members over reading books, as this will not only help you gain Imagination points but also deepen your bonds with them.
