Wednesday Season 2: Percy Hynes White’s Return Confirmed

Netflix has confirmed that they will address the allegations against star Percy Hynes White and determine if he will return for Season 2 of Wednesday.

Production has officially begun in Ireland for Season 2 of Wednesday, with lead actors Jenna Ortega and Tim Burton returning to reprise their roles in the series.

According to Variety, the official cast for the upcoming season of Wednesday has been announced, and it has been confirmed that Percy Hynes White will not be reprising his role as Xavier Thorpe.

Despite the show’s tremendous success, Hynes faced allegations of misconduct several months later. These included alleged sending of inappropriate images to minors, a recording of him using a racial slur, and multiple assaults. The actor, however, refuted these claims and labeled them as part of a larger “campaign of misinformation.”

Despite White’s current listing alongside the cast on IMDb, Variety’s report contradicts this information. Following the emergence of allegations, he has kept a low profile, but it is speculated that he will be appearing alongside Ortega in the upcoming film Winter Spring Summer or Fall later this year.

It seems as though White’s role has been removed from the series. However, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzmán, Isaac Ordonez, and Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo will reprise their respective characters, while Steve Buscemi, Billie Piper, Evie Templeton, and Owen Painter will be joining the ensemble.

Throughout the first season’s finale, it became evident that Wednesday and Xavier may cross paths once more, particularly upon discovering that Tyler, whom she had chosen as her love interest, is a murderous psychopath.

It has been rumored that a new character will appear as a potential love interest for Wednesday. Additionally, Season 2 may delve into different locations outside of Nevermore Academy, providing opportunities to introduce more members of the Addams family.
