Companies such as Shueisha, Bookwalker, Bandai Namco Films, and Wit Studio have all released their own vertical scrolling manga apps, which have been well-received by readers.
Vertical-scrolling manga, such as these, offer effortless readability on both PCs and mobile devices. Furthermore, they lend themselves well to translation and add an element of surprise as readers can focus on one panel at a time.
