Despite the seemingly straightforward nature of the quest, players have already faced a bug that halts their progress. This glitch emerges when the game instructs players to approach a heavily fortified door.
Despite the simplicity of the interaction, multiple users have reported that they are unable to progress due to a bug with the door not responding to button presses.
Fans on both Reddit and Blizzard Forums have reported encountering the issue on multiple platforms, including PC, PS5, and Xbox.
Someone in the forums expressed their disappointment, saying “It’s a shame that this issue is occurring as the second step in the first quest of the season.”
Temporary Fix for Diablo 4 Of Lambs and Wolves Bug
As of now, the glitch in question has not been addressed by Blizzard developers, thus there is no information on when the community can anticipate a patch to fix it.
Nevertheless, players of Diablo 4 have found a short-term workaround that allows them to engage with the fortified door of Of Lambs and Wolves.
Some players have found success in exiting the game and logging back in, while others have had luck by teleporting to a different location and then fast-traveling back.
Nevertheless, a user on Reddit reported that the malfunctioning door could be fixed by following these steps: teleporting back to town, untracking the quest, re-tracking it, and then returning to the quest area through the portal.
It should be noted that the issue with Of Lambs and Wolves is not the only problem impacting Diablo 4 Season 5. There is also a bug that allows players to skip ahead multiple levels. Additionally, it seems that Tempering Manuals were unintentionally carried over, but the developers have decided to overlook this for Season 5.
