A new special edition for the highly anticipated Monster Hunter Wilds has been unveiled, offering some of the most unusual and extravagant merchandise yet, which is only loosely associated with the beloved franchise.
Since the release of Monster Hunter Rise, the series has increasingly emphasized mounts that players can utilize in combat. In Monster Hunter Rise, players could ride on Palamutes, which are dogs designed for smaller maps. In contrast, Monster Hunter Wilds will introduce Seikrets, giant lizards that traverse expansive open worlds.
Capcom seems eager to allow players to experience the thrill of wind in their hair in real life, just like in the Monster Hunter games. This is all thanks to the newly announced special edition for Monster Hunter Wilds, featured on the e-Capcom Twitter/X page, which includes a bike.
“E-Capcom” has started accepting pre-orders for the official shop limited edition “Monster Hunter Wilds Ultra Collector’s Edition”! For details, check out the E-Capcom special page! https://t.co/BTFvtaSN30 #MonsterHunterWilds #MHWs #MHWilds pic.twitter.com/qOqoZ9heA5

For 181,590 yen (approximately $1260 USD), players can secure the Ultimate Collector’s Edition of Monster Hunter Wilds. This exclusive edition features a folding bike adorned in the vibrant green and purple hues of the Seikrets.
Furthermore, the Ultimate Collector’s Edition contains additional items such as a bag designed like a hunter’s pouch, a plushie, and a steel book copy of the game.
Sadly, this special edition of Monster Hunter Wilds is exclusive to Japan, meaning unless you’re prepared to incur hefty shipping costs, you won’t be able to own the Monster Hunter bike—unless an international edition is announced in the future.
This might just be the most bizarre merchandise Capcom has ever produced, and considering this is the same company that launched Resident Evil perfume and First Aid Spray drinks, that says something. However, fans with deep pockets and energy to spare will surely find a way to put the Monster Hunter bike to use, if only to flaunt it online while pretending to battle monsters with a poster tube.
