Weki Meki’s Final Music Release Receives Mixed Reactions

On June 6, K-media reported that Weki Meki is scheduled to disband following the release of their final digital single “CoinciDestiny.”

Fantagio confirmed, “This (song) does mark Weki Meki’s departure.”This announcement deeply saddened loyal fans of the group, who expressed disappointment over the agency’s handling of the group and their limited releases, news, and promotions.

The caption on their poster also stated, “I will always cherish the moments when we coincidentally crossed paths, envisioned destiny, and radiated with joy.

On June 12, Weki Meki finally unveiled the official music video for their song “CoinciDestiny.”The MV showcases the members spending quality time together, perfectly complementing the heartfelt lyrics that express their strong connection and appreciation for their fans.

Despite the release of Weki Meki’s music video “CoinciDestiny,”fans on social media expressed their dissatisfaction. K-Lings, the group’s loyal fan base, were disappointed with the low-quality production of the MV and directed their frustration towards the agency for not providing a decent budget. This was especially disheartening as it was the group’s final comeback.
