Halloween is typically associated with children’s festivities, but Wendy’s has found a unique way to celebrate the season for adults as well.
Starting October 21, Wendy’s will introduce the Boo! Bag Meal, tailored for those who embrace their inner “kidult.”
This Boo! Bag features a Dave’s Single burger, a small order of fries, a small chocolate Frosty, and a glow-in-the-dark Bone Chiller Frosty figure, alongside a Boo! Book.
“Boo! Bags are ideal for ‘kidults’ who adore collectible toys, as well as for parents seeking a tasty meal deal. Plus, our delightful Boo! Books serve as a perfect alternative to Halloween candy, making great gifts for family or friends—or simply a sweet treat for yourself this autumn!” Wendy’s explained on their official site.
Inside the Boo! Book are coupons for five complimentary Jr. Frosty treats and a voucher for a $1.99 Kids’ Meal. Customers can even buy additional Boo! Books for just $1 each.
This limited-edition meal will be available at participating Wendy’s locations across the U.S. until November 3, while supplies last.
In addition to the Boo! Bag Meal, Wendy’s is also featuring the Frosty Freight Kids’ Meal, which allows customers to collect 11 toys inspired by the beloved Frosty dessert. This limited-time offering will likewise end on November 3.
The introduction of the Boo! Bag Meal follows the earlier release of Wendy’s SpongeBob-themed Krabby Patty Kollab Meal, which some patrons felt did not meet expectations. With the Halloween-themed Boo! Bag, many are hoping this will serve as Wendy’s “comeback.”
Earlier in October, McDonald’s joined the Halloween festivities by reintroducing their classic Boo Buckets. However, there was disappointment among fans regarding the revamped design, with many stating it lacked the beloved “nostalgia” of past versions.
