The three-party contract dispute lawsuit between FIFTY FIFTY, the original singer of the 2023 hit song “Cupid”, and the brokerage company ATTRAKT and the outsourcing management and music production company The Givers has been entangled since June. Today (23rd) there is another major progress.
FIFTY FIFTY filed a lawsuit against the company ATTRAKT in court in June this year for breach of contract. The reasons were that it ignored the physical condition of its members and made false income settlements. However, ATTRAKT believed that the outsourcing company The Givers was negligent in its duties. ATTRAKT representative Quan Hongjun continued to accuse the representatives of The Givers to the media. Ahn Sung-ri incited FIFTY FIFTY and other evil deeds.
Things took a major turn on the 16th of this month. Member Keena officially withdrew the appeal and returned to the embrace of ATTRAKT, siding with representative Jeon Hongjun. On the 20th, she accepted an interview with “Dispatch”(D Agency) and talked a lot about herself and the members. As well as the details of members’ parents being instigated and gaslighted (psychologically manipulated) by Ahn Sung-ri, ATTRAKT also released the recording of a phone call made by Ahn Sung-ri to Keena’s father, which directly pointed out that Ahn Sung-ri “deceived members” .
Today, ATTRAKT officially announced that it had terminated its contract with three members other than Keena, Saena, Sio and Aran, on the 19th. It accused the three members of serious breach of contract and failed to make any corrections and reflections. It will continue to discuss how to deal with the three members.
ATTRAKT has repeatedly expressed the hope that FIFTY FIFTY “will not be manipulated by greedy adults”during this period.
