In Urzikstan, Redacted Weapons are being introduced for the first time in Warzone Season 4 Reloaded. However, obtaining these weapons is not a simple feat. Despite the difficulty, they are highly valuable as they can provide a significant advantage to you and your team, particularly in the final moments of a match.
Since Season 3, Rebirth Island has been home to these one-of-a-kind guns, which are given as a reward for locating Biometric Scanners. However, the recent mid-Season 4 update has brought these weapons to the main map for the first time. Here’s a guide on how to obtain Redacted Weapons in Warzone and what they entail.
Explanation of Redacted Weapons
Warzone’s Redacted Weapons are unique iterations of current firearms, each equipped with a total of eight attachments. This is a significant increase from the standard Gunsmith limit of five, resulting in significantly enhanced key stats that surpass the usual maximum buffs.
Despite not having a choice in the weapons or their attachments, they are all meticulously designed to be highly competitive, whether it be an Assault Rifle or Sniper.
Having this in mind, it is highly recommended to obtain one before the endgame, as the additional attachments could give you an advantage in the last few battles. These guns are also beneficial if you have recently returned from the Gulag and are having difficulty recovering your loadout, as you will immediately acquire a high-quality weapon without spending any money.
Redacted Weapons arrive on Urzikstan as part of the Season 4 Reloaded update.
Where to find them
To obtain a Redacted Weapon, you can either open Supply Boxes at Loot Hot Zones or find them inside the various secret Bunkers scattered throughout the map, as stated in the official Warzone Season 4 Reloaded blog.
Hot Zones are randomly chosen and not indicated on your map, so you will need to either land on one or use a vehicle to search and locate one.
In these areas, you will notice a higher quality of loot compared to regular drops. This is due to the abundance of rare orange Supply Boxes. Additionally, you may encounter enemy teams vying for the same rewards, including Redacted Weapons.
Additionally, a guaranteed method of obtaining a Redacted Weapon is through the opening of a Bunker.
In addition to Warzone Mobile and Modern Warfare 3, Season 4 Reloaded has a lot to offer, including the introduction of the Mutation mode in multiplayer.
