Smart Screens are one of the many new features in Warzone Season 3, and they can be used to gather valuable intel during a game. Here’s everything you need to know about how they work.
Season 3 of Warzone brings many new features to the Battle Royale, including new weapons such as the MORS or FJX Horus sniper rifle, new events and more.
And among all these new features, smart screens are a nice feature that could help squads plan their next move in a game and decide if and when they should fight.
Here’s everything you need to know about smart displays and what they can do.
Smart Screens in Warzone Explained
Smart Screens are electronic boards scattered around Rebirth Island that display key information in Warzone. Confirmed in the official Season 3 release, there are around a dozen of these signs to be found around the returning Resurgence map, both on exterior walls and inside buildings.
In addition to Konni’s generic messages, these smart screens show “hot zones”across the map, signifying locations where the greatest number of players are fighting. This lets aggressive squads know where the action is, while also telling more cautious players which areas to avoid.
They also highlight the first Warzone operators in a game to reach 10, 15, or 20 kills, calling them “demons,” as well as anyone who created a biometric scanner during the game.
By revealing these high-value targets, anyone keeping an eye on the smart screens will be able to decide whether it’s worth taking on a rival team.
The release also revealed that an “unknown entity” had hacked into the devices and broadcast their own messages, which could be directly linked to some type of event planned for later in the season.
It’s worth noting that smart displays are exclusive to Rebirth Island at the moment. Only time will tell if the developers decide to add them to Urzikstan or other Resurgence maps at a later date.
