What are the best graphics settings for WWE 2K23 on Steam Deck?

Early Access for WWE 2K23 has finally begun. Even though the game doesn’t come out until March 17, 2023, people who pre-ordered the Deluxe or Icon Edition can now play it. The graphics are much better than in WWE 2K22, and there are a lot of new features. Not only do these changes make the game look better, but they also change how it works.

When it comes to how well the release works on PC, it does well. Only a GTX 1070 is suggested, which is out of date as of this writing. Because graphics technology has gotten better and chips are more powerful, most modern GPUs will be able to handle the game without a hitch. This also applies to the Steam Deck.

Valve’s first handheld game is called “Steam Deck.” Even though the device is small, it can easily run most new releases. Hogwarts Legacy and Sons of the Forest both run very well on the device, and WWE 2K23 is no different.

WWE 2K23 works surprisingly well on Steam Deck.

Before, the developers of WWE 2K23 said that they were working on making the game run better on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC. They didn’t say anything about the Steam Deck’s compatibility. Valve gives a game a rating so players can see how it does on the Steam Deck. Most of the time, users should look for ‘Verified’ or ‘Playable’ ratings when they want to play a game on it.

But the WWE title hasn’t gotten these kinds of ratings yet. So, people who want to play the game will have to change how their devices work. Even though there was a lot of confusion about how it would work on the Steam Deck, WWE 2K23 works very well on the handheld. Having said that, here are the best settings to use for graphics in WWE 2K23 on the Steam Deck:

Graphics settings

  • Texture Quality: Standard
  • Monitor: 1
  • Windowed Mode: No
  • Screen Resolution: 1280X800
  • Vsync: Off
  • Refresh Rate: 60 Hz
  • Action Camera FPS: 30
  • Model Quality: Standard
  • Shadows: Off
  • Shadow Quality: Low
  • Shader Quality: Low
  • Anti-Alias: Off
  • Reflections: Off
  • Dynamic Upscaling: AMD FSR 1
  • Sharpness: As per your preference
  • Depth of Field: As per your preference.
  • Motion Blur: As per your preference.

These settings should make the game the most stable to play. But it’s important to know that the game hasn’t been optimized for the Steam Deck’s hardware yet, which could cause some users to have trouble with how it works. It also doesn’t run on the device in its own way.

Players will have to use Proton Experimental and turn off the TDP limit. This could cause the battery to run out of power faster and make more heat.

On March 17, 2023, WWE 2K23 will be available for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and the PC.
