Players of MW3 Zombies can expect fresh content in Season 4 Reloaded, as the latest update brings the introduction of Unstable Rifts.
Unstable Rifts explained
In MWZ, players can encounter new rifts on the map during a match. The objective is to reach them quickly and be the first to enter. Once inside, players will face a wave-based combat challenge.
Don’t worry if a squad beats you to a rift, there will be other chances to find and enter one throughout the game.
MW3 Zombies is finally getting some new content.
According to the CoD blog, the Unstable Rifts operate differently from other areas and can both give and take items. Upon entering, players will be rewarded with powerful loot and a fully upgraded Pack-A-Punch weapon, as well as complimentary Perks and upgrades to aid in surviving the challenging waves.
Unstable Rift Rewards
If you successfully conquer the waves, the cooldown for all of your insured weapons and schematics will be reset.
This feature allows you to immediately jump into your next Modern Warfare 3 Zombies game with all your top equipment, avoiding any wait time for cooldowns. However, if you are unsuccessful, you will not earn any rewards and will have to locate another Unstable Rift if you want to finish the game.
The wave-based gameplay in Black Ops 6 will return to its classic round-based experience.
