The TikTok trend of spotting and showcasing strawberries has become extremely popular on the platform, with numerous videos garnering millions of views.
The trend involves individuals showcasing the unique appearance of their pets. In their TikTok videos, they incorporate an audio saying “Oh look, a strawberry,” and each time it repeats, a different one of their animals is revealed on screen.
Despite the seemingly happy appearance of the pets with their tongues out, some posters received criticism for unintentionally ranking their pets from cutest to ugliest.
Viewers were empathetic towards the animals as they were subjected to criticism for their appearance.

Despite using their animals to participate in the trend, some TikTokers were adamant that they had no malicious intentions.

The first dog in the video did not display any facial deformities, but as the footage progressed, the remaining three dogs showed such abnormalities.

TikToker Dolly joined in on the trend and shared her own version. In her video, she featured her dogs in order of cuteness, going from the most adorable to the “skrunkliest.”
Despite the first dog displaying impeccable dental health, the rest of the litter seemed to have protruding teeth and misaligned grins.
