After a man shared a bizarre new way to cook watermelon on Twitter/X, viewers were shocked and left with a bad taste in their mouth.
Watermelon, known as one of the most refreshing summer fruits, evokes memories of relaxing by the pool on lazy days. But have you ever thought about deep-frying it?
The video depicted the man washing a watermelon, slicing it into thin pieces, and then skewering them.

Subsequently, he beat an egg in a bowl and poured chicken flour into another. He submerged the watermelon skewers in the egg mixture and then covered them with the chicken flour.
To complete the dish, he fried the watermelon skewers until they turned crispy and golden. “Have you ever tasted chicken fried watermelon?”the caption asked.
