Throughout your gameplay experience in Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions, you have the opportunity to collect different types of currency to improve your team’s appearance and gear. How does Moonstone currency work in Quidditch Champions?
In Harry Potter, you can earn three types of currency: Quidditch Champions’ Moonstones, Gold, and Winged Keys. Yet, Moonstone currency holds the most significance as it is primarily used for upgrading your team’s broomsticks.
You can begin accruing Moonstones in the game’s Tutorial mode by gaining experience in each learning stage. This experience counts towards your Career progression and unlocking levels in the current Season. Once you have full access to your Team and can participate in various modes (such as Campaign, Multiplayer, and Exhibition), you can really start grinding for Moonstones and other rewards.
After accumulating a significant number of Moonstones, navigate to your ‘My Team’ tab and select one of your teammates. Then, click on their ‘Performance’ option. This will direct you to a submenu where you can enhance either their Skills (if you have available points) or their broomstick. Navigate to the ‘Brooms’ section, where you will find their currently equipped broomstick and its corresponding statistics.
In order to enhance the broomstick, simply click on the ‘Preview Upgrade’ button located above the statistics display (as shown above). This will bring up a notification labeled ‘Confirm Broom Upgrade’, which outlines the specific stats that will receive upgrades and the corresponding amount for each. Additionally, by selecting ‘Toggle Details’, you can view a breakdown of the stats within the three main categories that will be boosted.
By clicking on ‘Confirm Upgrade’, your teammate’s broomstick will be upgraded and its level will increase (visible right below the broomstick’s name). Use your Moonstones wisely by upgrading as many of your teammates’ broomsticks as you can, in order to maintain a well-balanced team as your Career progresses.
Obtaining More Moonstones in Quidditch Champions
To obtain moonstones, it is essential to participate in as many game modes as possible and aim for victory. For those who prefer solo play, both the Campaign and Exhibition modes offer ample chances to level up and receive various rewards.
Alternatively, if your goal is to earn Moonstones, you can prioritize completing Mastery Challenges as they are a dependable way to do so. These challenges can be accessed by navigating to the ‘Challenges’ tab in the Player Menu.
Navigate to the ‘Career’ Challenges option in the left drop-down submenu. This will display four categories, one of which is ‘Mastery’. To complete this challenge, you must successfully complete tasks for each of the four types of Quidditch positions. Upon completion, you will be rewarded with a specific number of Moonstones.
