Explanation of the Mythic Goldfish
The Mythic Goldfish is a throwable item in Fortnite Reload that has the ability to eliminate any player in a single shot, regardless of their health or shield. Similar to grenades and other items, players can adjust its trajectory by holding down the aim button before releasing the shoot button.
While it may be challenging to master, successfully landing a direct hit is necessary to secure the knock. However, the payoff is definitely worth taking the risk.
Similarly to the other throwables in the game, the rare Goldfish is not consumed upon being thrown. Rather, it can be retrieved from its landing spot and immediately thrown again.
This indicates that in the event an opponent attempts to strike you but fails, you have the opportunity to swiftly seize the object and hurl it back at them in an attempt to eliminate them. On the other hand, if you do achieve a direct hit, you can retrieve the object and use it again as long as you have enough time.

Where to Find
The elusive Mythic Goldfish can be acquired through exploring Chests or opening Supply Drops in the fresh Reload mode. While it may be a highly uncommon find, you may have to play several matches before stumbling upon it, making it all the more valuable to keep an eye out for.
In its initial release to regular battle royale matches, the only means of obtaining this item was through fishing. However, due to its incredibly low drop rate of 0.0001%, it quickly became one of the most elusive and unknown items in the game.
Despite the increased drop rates in Reload, the item remains elusive and should not be solely relied upon for victory. While it has become more prevalent since the mode’s launch, it is still a challenging item to obtain.
When Was It Added & Vaulted?
The Mythic Goldfish made its debut in Chapter 2 Season 1, where its rarity and high damage made it a highly coveted weapon in the loot pool. It remained available throughout the entire Chapter, until it was removed from the game in Chapter 3 Season 1.
Ever since its brief appearance in the Ship it! Express LTM and subsequent addition to Creative Mode, Chapter 5 has been subtly hinting at its return.
The Myhtic Goldfish has made occasional appearances in Fortnite in the past, but it has now become a permanent feature in the game for the first time since December 2021.
