Confirmed Planets in Star Wars Outlaws
Akiva
Akiva, a planet located in the Outer Rim, is known for its intense climate with frequent thunder and rainstorms. This location was first introduced in the Aftermath novel series and has now been accurately portrayed in Star Wars media for the first time in Outlaws.
Myrra, the capital city of Akiva, is known for its intricate network of streets that are connected like a web. The locals rely on bala-bala speeders to maneuver through the tight corners and narrow pathways. Moreover, the city is built on top of fascinating elements beneath the planet’s surface. It is a known fact that Akiva used to have a massive droid construction facility underground, and there are rumors about a complex maze of ancient catacombs lying beneath the city.
The Creative Director of Outlaws, Julian Gerighty, has also hinted at the distinctive cantina located at the heart of the planet.
Cantonica
Cantonica will make an appearance in Star Wars Outlaws, with the focus being on its coastal city, Canto Bight. Fans of the series may recognize this name as it played a significant role in Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
Canto Bight, a bustling and thriving city, is a popular destination for the galaxy’s elite. Renowned for its extravagant gambling, thrilling races, and exquisite cuisine and beverages, it has earned the moniker of being the “playground of the most glamorous beings in the galaxy.”
Naturally, in Outlaws, we can anticipate a multitude of mini-games, including a high-stakes Sabacc game that would fit right in. It’s possible that we might even encounter the well-loved Lando Calrissian, as his appearance in the game has already been confirmed.
Kay Vess, the main character of Outlaws, hails from Cantonica. Despite not being born into a wealthy family, as far as we know, Vess grew up in the Worker’s District of Canto Bight. Upon her return to her home planet, she will undoubtedly have much to say about the sights and sounds she was unable to experience before.
Kijimi
We have witnessed the state of Kijimi during its most dire moments. This planet, situated in the Mid Rim Territories, was ultimately destroyed in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker by a powerful attack from the First Order. However, in Outlaws, which takes place before the sequel trilogy, we are able to see the planet during its prosperous and flourishing state.
This location, known as a refuge for wrongdoers, lacked a central governing body. As a result, it was a lawless area abundant with scoundrels. Despite its mountainous landscape, the cold weather makes it unwise to spend much time in the snow.
During our personal experience with Outlaws, we had the opportunity to discover a portion of Kijimi, immersing ourselves in the atmosphere of the local cantinas, engaging in a game of Sabacc, and receiving insightful advice from the residents.
Tatooine
If you are familiar with anything remotely connected to Star Wars, it is highly likely that you have come across Tatooine before. As one of the most frequently visited settings in the series, the desert planet located in the Outer Rim will once again be featured in Outlaws, possibly with a higher level of intricacy than ever before.
We are certain that the game will feature the iconic cantina and we will encounter Jabba The Hutt, one of the main syndicate leaders. However, the extent of our exploration of Tatooine is still unknown.
Torshara
Although it is not classified as a planet, Torshara is a recently constructed destination specifically made for Outlaws. In collaboration with Lucasfilm, Ubisoft meticulously crafted the location to seamlessly align with the Star Wars universe.
Located within the Toshaal system, this planet boasts Savannah-like terrain, however, many of its taller structures have deteriorated due to the incredibly powerful winds that have persisted over time.
Despite the large city in Mirogana, it seems likely that Kay will be frequently visiting this moon during her adventure.
We’re sure to be spending plenty of time on our speeder bike exploring each and every planet in Outlaws.
The list above includes all the confirmed locations that will appear in Star Wars Outlaws. However, given the vastness of the galaxy, there is always the possibility of a few unexpected additions. We will continue to update you here as we discover more information.
