What Time Can We Expect Rebel Moon Part 2 on Netflix?

Part 2 of Rebel Moon, titled The Scargiver, will soon be released on Netflix. No matter where you are in the world, you can expect it to be available to stream at a specific time.

Despite his unsuccessful pitch for a standalone Star Wars story in the style of Seven Samurai, Snyder’s career took a turn when Netflix granted him the opportunity to create his own cinematic universe years after the turmoil of Justice League.

The initial movie chronicled the journey of Kora, a “child of fire,”as she escaped the violence of an intergalactic conflict on a remote moon. However, her past caught up with her and she was eventually compelled to unite the bravest warriors in the galaxy to combat the Empire’s reign of terror.

Despite its rocky reception, Rebel Moon: Part 2 is set to finally debut on Netflix.

When does the ‘Snyder Cut’ of Rebel Moon Part 2 come out?

Netflix is expected to release the director’s cuts of Rebel Moon: Part 1 and 2 in August 2024.

According to Snyder’s interview with Forbes, he stated that they do not have a specific release date yet, but it will likely be sometime in August.

Snyder is largely characterized by his tendency to release director’s cuts of his films. For example, Watchmen had two extended versions, while the Ultimate Cut of Batman v Superman is widely considered to be the superior version. However, the most infamous of all is Zack Snyder’s Justice League, which was the result of a prolonged campaign to rectify the theatrical release of 2017.

Despite the uncertain arrival time, prepare yourself for approximately six hours of intense R-rated action. Each film is an hour longer than the PG-13 versions, making it a total of six hours when watched together. Of course, breaks can be taken if needed, but it will be a more immersive experience when viewed as a whole. The content is very mature and R-rated, which is something I’m eager for audiences to experience.

What to expect in the second installment of Rebel Moon

The second installment of Rebel Moon, titled The Scargiver, will continue to chronicle Kora’s journey on Veldt alongside her newly formed group. Together, they will prepare for an imminent clash with the Imperium, which includes her own father, Regent Balisarius.

The initial movie concluded with Kora, Gunnar, Tarak, Nemesis, General Titus, and Millius returning to their home. Meanwhile, Admiral Atticus Noble was sent to Balisarius by Balisarius and given orders to quell the uprising and capture Kora alive.

According to the official synopsis, the upcoming installment will follow Kora and the remaining warriors as they make a valiant effort to protect a newly discovered home for those who have lost their own in the ongoing battle against the Motherworld. As they prepare to face their enemies, the warriors are forced to confront their personal histories and motivations for fighting. With the Realm’s powerful forces closing in on the rebellion, unbreakable bonds are formed, heroes are born, and legends are created.

The second installment of Rebel Moon will be released on Netflix on April 19. Additional information about the cast, a summary of the ending, and other new movies to watch in April can be found.
