Xbox Games Showcase 2024 Date and Time

Microsoft has officially announced on Xbox Wire that the Games Showcase for this year will take place on Sunday, June 9 at 10:00 AM PST/1:00 PM ET/6:00 PM BST.

The duration of the show is currently unknown, but those who wish to watch it live can do so by tuning into Xbox’s YouTube, Facebook, and Twitch channels.

Mystery

After the conclusion of the Games Showcase, viewers will be eager to stay tuned for the Direct. This will be a dual broadcast, similar to the Games Showcase and Starfield Direct that took place in June 2023.

Despite this, Xbox has yet to announce which game will be featured during this year’s Direct time slot. Viewers can anticipate the stream to focus on “a special in-depth look into the upcoming addition to a well-loved series.”

The imagery above, with its use of iconography and blacked-out words, may suggest that the next Call of Duty game will be the main focus. However, at this point, this is merely speculation.

Xbox Games Showcase 2024 Rumors and Expectations

According to a report from The Verge released in early April, the Showcase is expected to take place on June 9. The report also revealed that the broadcast will feature announcements for a new Gears of War game and release dates for highly anticipated titles such as Avowed, Call of Duty 2024, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.

Despite the lack of official confirmation from Xbox, the only confirmed details so far are the June 9th date and Matt Booty’s previous tease for Avowed.

Additionally, the Xbox Wire’s blog post has mentioned that this presentation will be the inaugural event to showcase games from their entire first-party portfolio, including titles from Activision, Blizzard, Bethesda, and Xbox Game Studios. Third-party games will also have a chance to shine during the event on June 9.
