Specifically, the narrative follows the ongoing journey of In Guk and Jae Hyun, the main characters, following the marriage of the latter to Dasom.

To provide some background, In Guk had alluded to having romantic feelings for Dasom in the MV, but it was ultimately revealed that those feelings were actually for his best friend Jae Hyun.

12 years later, the MV depicted the reunion of the two characters at a funeral, hinting that Jae Hyun had also divorced Dasom since their first encounter.

They spent the entire night drinking and talking together after connecting with each other.

In a state of intoxication, both Jae Hyun and In Guk were present. Jae Hyun made the decision to sleep first, while In Guk took a moment to contemplate his emotions as he gazed at his lips. However, he quickly returned to his senses.

As they strolled through the tunnel, Seo In Guk’s emotions suddenly overwhelmed him, causing his voice to shake as he turned to Jae Hyun and asked:

“I have something to tell you… can I hug you just once?”

As Jae Hyun stood there with a blank expression, the scene overlapped with his mourning at a funeral… only to realize that it was for Seo In Guk!

The shocking conclusion left viewers feeling a mix of grief and confusion, questioning whether or not In Guk had truly died.

According to fans’ speculations, the butterfly accompanying In Guk and his broken watch may suggest that his character has passed away, symbolizing the end of his time.

Jae Hyun’s time spent with Seo In Guk was like a dream to him. Even as he mourned Seo In Guk’s passing, it became clear that his true feelings for him were finally coming to the surface.
