Being a fan of When Calls the Heart has been a trying experience lately. Fans have been criticizing the small-town drama for its inconsistent storyline, culminating in a disappointing Season 11 finale that was broadcasted last week.
Despite the lack of information about what might happen next in the TV show, the confirmation of When Calls the Heart Season 12 in May 2024 may render previous events insignificant. This could also present an opportunity to rectify any past mistakes.
Despite fans expressing their disappointment with Season 11, stating that the writing has declined since Season 8, there are some who are divided on the new pairing of Elizabeth and Nathan. Additionally, there have been suggestions from fans that Jack may possibly return in future episodes.
According to a fan’s post on Reddit, there was speculation that Jack may make a surprising return in Season 12 of “When Calls the Heart”after the cliffhanger in the Season 11 finale. This idea was sparked by the fact that Daniel Lissing, who plays Jack, will be in an upcoming Hallmark movie with Erin Krakow. The fan and their wife were joking about the possibility, but after the cliffhanger, it doesn’t seem completely out of the question to them.
For those who may have forgotten, Jack was a prominent character in Seasons 1-5 of When Calls the Heart. In Season 5, he is believed to have died in a landslide during a training mission at Fort Clay. Although a memorial is held after a body is found, some fans argue that it was never explicitly confirmed to be his.
Despite his death, Jack reappears in the show and appears to Abigail in a vision. He asks her to send a message, further causing uncertainty about his supposed death.
