The Big Bang event will bring Chapter 5 Season 1 to the island with a splash. You can watch the event in-game on December 2, 2023, at 2 p.m. EST/11 a.m. PST. In preparation for the event, all Epic-made game modes will be offline for maintenance starting at 12 p.m. EST/9 a.m. PST on December 2, 2023.
How to Watch and Join the Big Bang Event
With the Big Bang right around the corner, you’ll want to know how to tune in on the day of. You can join the event up to 30 minutes beforehand by heading to the Battle Royale tile in the Discover menu. If you’re like me and prefer to party with friends, you’re in luck. You can invite up to four friends to squad up for the event and load in together. If you’re a busy bee and find yourself AFK during the event, you can easily tune in via the Fortnite cloud streaming with Xbox Cloud Gaming, NVIDIA GeForce Now, and Amazon Luna.
