The highly anticipated Season 22 of Apex Legends is quickly approaching, bringing with it significant changes to the Battle Pass. These updates are sure to make a big impact on the game.
Despite its unexpected release in February 2019, Apex Legends by Respawn Entertainment has consistently provided players with fresh content. Over the course of five years, fans have been treated to 21 seasons of exciting new Legends, weapons, and updates in this action-packed battle royale game.
These are all the things you can anticipate in Season 22 of Apex Legends.
Apex Legends Season 22 Release Date
Although Respawn has not yet announced the official release date for Season 22, we can anticipate its arrival to be around the same time as the end of the current Battle Pass countdown on August 6, 2024.
According to previous releases, the new season’s content is expected to be available at 10 AM PT/ 1 PM ET/6 PM BST.
Season 22: What to Expect
Despite the lack of confirmed details for Season 22 content, the most significant announcement is the introduction of a new Battle Pass experience.
Changes to the Battle Pass
In the future, there will be a Battle Pass for every split instead of just one per season. However, each pass will now only have 60 levels instead of the usual 110 levels.
This update allows players to receive twice the amount of Battle Pass rewards throughout the entire season, while still having the choice to advance from levels 60 to 100 in order to enhance their Battle Pass badges. Additional rewards have been included, while old rewards that were rarely used have been eliminated.
The Free and Premium tracks will continue to be maintained, with the addition of a new Premium+ track now available for $19.99.
After finishing the new pass, Free players will be rewarded with an extra Epic Character Skin, Weapon Skin, Standing Emote, and double the Season Rewards.
Premium users will receive x2,400 Crafting Metals, x17 Apex Packs, and three Legends-Thematic Packs. The Premium+ tier offers all the perks of Premium, along with x10 level skins, x2,400 Crafting Metals, x20 Exotic Shards, and two Legendary Character Skin Variants exclusive to Premium+. Additionally, Premium+ members will have access to all Legends for the duration of the pass.
In contrast to the past, fans can now only buy the tiers with actual currency instead of using Apex Coins.
