Jujutsu Kaisen: Renewed for Another Season?
Following the release of Season 2, MAPPA officially announced that Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 is currently in production, with the Culling Games Arc being the focus. While the exact release dates have not been revealed yet, it is speculated that the new season will be available sometime between 2025 and 2026. Stay tuned for further updates.
What will be Covered in Season 3
The third season of Jujutsu Kaisen will continue the story following the Shibuya Incident Arc, known as the Culling Games Arc. This arc will be preceded by the Itadori’s Extermination Arc and the Perfect Preparation Arc, both of which take place after the Shibuya Incident. It is anticipated that this season will consist of 24 episodes, similar to the previous two seasons.

Given that Crunchyroll currently streams the first two seasons of Jujutsu Kaisen, it is likely that they will also hold the rights for the upcoming third season.
What Happened in Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2?
The conclusion of season 2 saw the Shibuya Incident Arc, during which Kenjaku and Mahito conspired to trap Gojo in the Prism Realm. This led to the emergence of minor villains and the rebirth of Toji Fushiguro. In response, Itadori and Megumi joined forces to battle against these new adversaries.
Throughout the season, we are faced with the deaths of numerous beloved characters and the emergence of Sukuna as a powerful force. During his fight with Yuji, Choso experiences a moment of realization. Additionally, we are treated to an epic battle between Sukuna and Mahoraga. Seeking vengeance, Yuji confronts Mahito, and Yuki makes a surprising return. As a result of the chaotic events, Shibuya is left in ruins.
Too Eager to Wait? Manga to the Rescue
The third season is expected to begin with the adaptation of Chapter 137 of the Jujutsu Kaisen manga, continuing the storyline from the Shibuya Incident Arc which was covered in the second season starting from Chapter 136. If you cannot wait to find out what happens next, you can start reading from Chapter 137 for a seamless continuation of the plot.
