Possible release date for MW3 Season 3 update
MW3 Season 3 is scheduled to arrive on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, as indicated by the in-game Season 2 counter.
Normally, major Call of Duty updates arrive on Wednesdays, further confirming the expected release date for Season 3. Keep in mind that unforeseen delays may further push back this new season if the developers deem it necessary.

In October 2023, several leaks regarding MW3 Season 3 weapons began to emerge.
These leaks notably announced the return of several popular weapons from Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.

The leaks were shared by HYP0ESTHESIA on X/Twitter and corroborated by leaker HeyImAlaix. The first had already precisely leaked weapons not released for season 1 and season 2.
