During the Call of Duty NEXT event, Activision announced the official release date for Ranked Play in Black Ops 6, which is earlier than any previous installment in the series.
Ranked Play satisfies the competitive desire for players seeking a higher level of gameplay than a typical public match. It adheres to the Call of Duty League regulations, which limit the use of specific weapons, gear, and killstreaks. Moreover, it follows the same 4v4 structure, map selection, and game types utilized by professional players.
As players win matches and climb the ranks, they have the opportunity to earn a spot in the prestigious Top 250. At the conclusion of each season, players are rewarded based on their placement in the division they finish in.
The game mode for Modern Warfare 3 was released as a part of the Season 1 Reloaded update on January 17. However, Black Ops 6 will be releasing the game mode even earlier this year. So, without any delay, fans can anticipate the release of the game mode.
Black Ops 6 Ranked Play Release Date
It has been announced by Activision that Season 1 of Black Ops 6 will feature the introduction of Ranked Play.
The first season of Modern Warfare 3 was released approximately one month after the game’s official launch. If Black Ops 6 follows a similar timeline, it is anticipated that the initial seasonal update will be launched in late November, with the addition of Ranked Play following shortly after.
Treyarch has not officially announced any changes to the upcoming iteration of Ranked Play. Additionally, there has been no mention of the game mode being added to Warzone. Similar to Modern Warfare 3, Ranked Play was not available on Urzikstan and was only available on Regurgence maps.
Raven Software has announced their plans to release Ranked Play battle royale before the end of the year, but an official date has not yet been confirmed.
