EL7Z UP: ‘Queendom Puzzle,’ & Debut With ‘CHEEKY’
“The creation of “Queendom Puzzle”was inspired by the success of Mnet’s two survival shows, “Queendom”and “Queendom 2.”In April 2023, Mnet announced their plans to launch a new global project girl group, along with the production of the spin-off series.”

The program was broadcasted from June 13, 2023, to August 15, 2023, with Taeyeon of Girls’ Generation as the host. While originally slated to include Lee Chaeyeon and LABOUM Haein, they were unable to participate due to personal circumstances.
The lineup consisted of members from a range of K-pop girl groups, such as Cherry Bullet, Weeekly, H1-LEY, tripleS, MOMOLAND, Rocket Punch, Lovelyz, LIGHTSUM, PURPLE KISS, WJSN, woo!ah!, AOA, and CLC.
The program consisted of contestants from popular survival shows such as Girls Planet 999 and GIRL’S RE:VERSE, as well as renowned Japanese idol groups AKB48, BNK48, and NMB48. These contestants were then challenged through individual and group battles, pitting them against one another.
Ultimately, the team was solidified with Hwiseo (H1-KEY), Nana (H1-KEY), Yuki (PURPLE KISS), Kei (Lovelyz), Yeoreum (WJSN), Yeonhee (Rocket Punch), and Yeeun (CLC) as members.
