The next installment in the beloved Like a Dragon (Yakuza) franchise is almost here, and Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth will offering fans the chance to embark on an adventure with dual protagonists. The legendary Kazuma Kiryu will be playable alongside newcomer Ichiban Kasuga, who debuted in Yakuza 7.

Where is Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth set?
Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth takes place primarily in Honolulu, Hawaii. This marks the first time the franchise has been set outside of Japan, and promises to offer fans plenty of huge and vibrant environments to explore.
Among the locations that have been revealed so far are the beautiful Aloha Beach, the Waikīkī shopping district and the dangerous District Five – an area that has been taken over by members of the local mafia and is off-limits to the public.
In addition to Honolulu, players will also have the opportunity to explore the Isezaki Ijincho district of Yokohama, Japan during certain sections of the game.
How big is the map in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth?
Although the exact size of the Hawaii map in Infinite Wealth has not yet been confirmed, we do know that it is 3 times larger than the map in ‘Isezaki Ijincho in Yakuza: Like a Dragon, as noted by developers Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio in a post shared on X (formerly Twitter) on November 24, 2023.
