Of course, being a capture game where you can put your Pals to work on a Ranch, it’s best to know where to find some of the best Pals in the game. Astegon is one of them.
With a high level of handwork and generally being an excellent mount for flying, this is a Pal not to be missed. So here’s everything you need to know about where to find Astegon in Palworld.
Where to find Astegon in Palworld
Astegon can be found in two locations. Either inside the Destroyed Mine in the Volcanic region of the map, or in Wildlife Sanctuary #3.
Finding Astegon in the southwest volcanic region is a bit more complicated. The entrance to the Destroyed Mine is near the Obsidian Mountain fast travel point. However, the entrance is quite difficult to spot. The exact coordinates are -576, -421.
Places to find Astegon in Palworld
However, traveling northeast to Wildlife Sanctuary Island #3, right next to the Glacier area, will allow you to find Astagon more easily.
You will need a Flying Pal to access it, as the location is separated from the mainland. The closest fast travel point is the Deep Sand Dunes. The journey should not be too long, provided you have unlocked this point.
Astegon is a great Pal to have in your Paldex. His level 4 in Extraction makes him one of the best Pals in this area.
Since Astegon is a Dark Dragon type, it is weak to Ice or Pals Dragons. To make it easier for you, it is therefore best to bring Pals of these types to capture an Astegon in Palworld.
