For those not inclined towards multiplayer gaming, it’s worth noting that the campaign can be downloaded as a standalone option. While your progress remains linked to your Activision account, you might be interested in backing up or resetting your progress locally. Here’s how to locate your save files for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.
Save File for Call of Duty Black Ops 6
You can find the save files for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 in this directory on your PC:
C:\Users\[USERNAME]\Documents\Call of Duty\players\[UNIQUE ID]\sp24
For Steam users, the sp24 folder will include your save file. Given that Call of Duty games are now integrated under a single launcher, identifying the save files pertinent to this specific title can be somewhat challenging for different clients. The “players” directory contains a significant amount of your data, including configuration settings and save files.
If you’re using the version from Game Pass through the Xbox App, it’s important to note that the save files may be encrypted and thus not visible here. To ensure you can restore your data, we suggest backing up the entire “players” folder. Should you wish to reset your progress, you can erase the entire “Call of Duty” folder, but be aware that this will also reset your graphics settings and in-game preferences.
