Where to Find Diamonds in Stardew Valley

In Stardew Valley, Diamonds are highly prized resources. Despite the most perilous location being the first and most obvious option for finding them, there are other methods for obtaining these valuable gems without risking one’s safety. Below are the different ways to acquire Diamonds in Stardew Valley.

How to Obtain Diamonds in Stardew Valley

The Mine located on the north side of Pelican Town is the prime location to find Diamonds in Stardew Valley. As you reach levels 50 and below, you will come across Diamond Nodes that can be smashed for Diamonds. These Diamond Nodes are easily identifiable as small, grey rocks with light blue Diamonds jutting out.

Although Diamond Nodes are the most dependable and profitable source of Diamonds, they can also be found in regular Gem Nodes on all levels of the Mines. Furthermore, creatures like Slimes, Golems, Duggys, and Dwarvish Sentries have a chance of dropping Diamonds as loot. As you progress to the lowest level of the Mines, you will have the opportunity to obtain Diamonds from defeating any monster.

Navigating the Mines in Stardew Valley can be treacherous, particularly once you reach level 50 and beyond. However, if you prefer a less risky approach to obtaining Diamonds, there are still a few alternatives available. One option is to place Ice Pips or Stonefish into a Fish Pond. Ice Pips are typically found on level 60 of the Mines, so you would have to venture past level 50 regardless. If you’re not ready for that challenge yet, Stonefish can also be discovered on level 20 of the Mines. By breeding nine or more Stonefish in a Pond, you can expect them to occasionally produce Diamonds for you.

Furthermore, the Statue of Endless Fortune has a tendency to frequently spawn Diamonds, and Diamonds can also be obtained while Panning or from Fishing Treasure Chests. While these methods may not always yield Diamonds, there is a possibility of getting lucky. However, the Statue of Endless Fortune comes at a steep price of 1,000,000G, making the Mines the most economical, easily accessible, and dependable source for Diamonds.

Using a Crystalarium in Stardew Valley allows you to generate an endless supply of Diamonds with just one of them. This handy device has the ability to duplicate any Gems that are placed inside it. You can obtain a Crystalarium by completing a Vault Bundle at the Community Center, or by crafting one using 99 Stone, 5 Gold Bars, 2 Iridium Bars, and 1 Battery Pack.

Put the initial Diamond you come across into a Crystalarium, and you won’t have to search for another one ever again!
