Melinoë has a distinct memory from her youth of playing hide and seek with her mentor, Hecate. In this game, the player has complete control and must locate Hecate multiple times. Here is where Hecate can be found during the Hide and Seek activity in Hades 2.
Tips for Finding Hecate in Hades 2 During Hide and Seek
During their Hades 2 gameplay, players will encounter the hide and seek memory at random after experiencing multiple unsuccessful attempts. Completing this memory is necessary to return to the underworld in the present day and continue with additional rogue-like runs.
Despite the entire playable memory being shown in a darkish sepia tone, which may cause objects to blend together, some players may find it difficult to see. This can be especially frustrating for those who are impatient or have trouble with pixel-hunting. The following are the three locations where Hecate can be found in sequential order:
Hecate Hiding Spot #1
The location of the first hiding spot is next to a group of pots near the Incantation cauldron. Although Hecate’s large hat may make it noticeable, those who are not paying close attention may confuse it for one of the decorated pots. It has been highlighted in the image above for better visibility.
Hecate’s Second Hiding Spot
The second spot where Hecate hides is located southwest of the cauldron, near the river and some tree branches. She will move around in each hiding spot, and a speech bubble will appear when she speaks. Being aware of this will make it much simpler to locate and communicate with her.
Hecate Hiding Spot #3
The last hiding spot can be found behind a large rock in the southeast, marked by three lanterns. To reach it, players must return to the cauldron and turn right. Unlike the previous two spots, she is not obstructed and easier to find.
