Where to Find Jaheira in Baldur’s Gate 3

Jaheira, like many other NPCs in Baldur’s Gate 3 (BG3), can be interacted with and recruited to your party. However, unlike Asterion or Wade, she is not available in the early game, which can be challenging for some players to locate her. Here is where you can find Jaheira in Baldur’s Gate 3.

One drawback of Jaheira is that she cannot be recruited immediately after your initial meeting. She is encountered early in Act 2, at the Last Light Inn.

• If you choose the path through the Mountain Pass, you’ll meet Kar’niss, who takes you directly to the Moonrise Towers. From the Moonrise Towers, you have to travel north to find the Last Light Inn.
• If you choose the Gymforge route, you’ll meet the Harpers directly. Just tag along, and you will eventually reach the Last Light Inn.

Regardless of the path you choose, there will be obstacles to face. For instance, if you align yourself with Kar’niss, you will encounter an attack from the Harpers (although you could also betray Kar’niss at this juncture).

Jaheira will be found at the Last Light Inn, where you can interact and chat with her. However, you cannot directly recruit her at the Inn.

How to Recruit Jaheira in Baldur’s Gate 3 (BG3)

It is considered quite difficult to recruit Jaheira due to the numerous ways in which she can meet her demise.

• Make sure to protect Isobel and prevent her from being taken by Marcus and Ketheric’s forces. If Isobel is taken, you’ll still get a chance to explain to Jaheira what happened.
• The Shadow Curse also endangers her, so make sure to request her to rest at your camp.
• The assault on Moonrise can get pretty bloody, and you have to save Nightsong in the Gauntlet of Shar. If you can’t save Nightsong, Jaheira won’t survive as well. So, protect Nightsong from both Balthazar and Shadowheart.

If you have followed the steps correctly, you will be able to temporarily recruit Jaheira at the Moonrise Towers. During the final battle, Ketheric Thorm will flee to the pit, allowing you to officially add Jaheira as a member of your team in Baldur’s Gate 3 (BG3).

It should be noted that no matter what actions you take in Baldur’s Gate 3 (BG3), Ketheric Thorm cannot be saved. Even if you decide to spare him during the second part of the battle, Thorm will still throw himself into the pit, ultimately concluding Act 2.
