After encountering Shen Monkey in the Bamboo Grove in the first Chapter, you will have access to Luojia Fragrant Vines which can be used to increase your Gourd uses. Initially starting at four, the number can eventually reach up to nine.

The Luojia Fragrant Vine can be identified by a plant adorned with luminous yellow bulbs. However, these plants are rare and hard to come by. To locate this Gourd upgrade item in each Chapter, follow these steps.
Introduction
The White Mist Marsh
From the vicinity of Shen Monkey’s establishment in the Marsh of White Mist Shrine, simply gaze to the left to spot a tree adorned with this dangling vine.
Chapter Two
The name of the bridge is Windrest.
From the Windrest Bridge Shrine, proceed over the bridge directly in front of you. You will have to eliminate the village first, but eventually, you will come across a gate at the end. Enter through the exit and turn to your right to locate the vines.
The name of the gate is Windseal.
To reach the Windseal Gate Shrine, continue down the path to your left. Upon defeating the guardian boss, you will be able to gather the hanging vines.
Chapter Three
The area known as the “Marsh of the White Mist”will remain unchanged.
In order to obtain a Luojia Fragrant Vine, you must return to Shen Monkey at Marsh of the White Mist. However, this item will only be available for purchase once you reach Chapter Three.
Beyond the wheel
Navigate through the cave adjacent to the Outside the Wheel Shrine. Once you have defeated Captain Wise-Voice, make your way to the back-left corner of the cave where you will come across the luminous vines.
The Bitter Lake’s North Shore.
Begin your journey from the North Shore of the Bitter Lake Shrine and continue walking along the shoreline until you reach the summit of a hill. As you approach, a cave will come into view. Instead of entering the cave, take a left turn and engage in battle with the enemies who are protecting the coveted item.
The road of longevity.
As you make your way to the Longevity Road Shrine, take the path on the left side of the snow-covered hill. Stay to the left throughout your journey and when you reach the end, you will come across the hanging vines being protected by two enemies.
Chapter 4
The area known as the Marsh of the White Mist remains unchanged.
Return to Shen Monkey at Marsh of the White Mist for the third time in order to purchase another Luojia Fragrant Vine once you reach Chapter Four.
Verdure Bridge is the name of the structure.
As you stroll along the left side of the Verdure Bridge, you’ll come across a pair of radiant lanterns. From there, descend and continue marching ahead until you reach a village. In the center of the village, you’ll spot the vines on a tree, but beware as they are guarded by the Scorpion Prince.
The location known as the Cliff of Oblivion remains unchanged.
Once you have defeated the Buddha’s Right-Hand boss, you can proceed by crossing the wooden bridge and descending to the next level. Then, turn right and continue walking over the following bridge.
As you make your way across a wooden beam, you may have to push through spiderwebs, but eventually, you will emerge from the forest. The journey will lead you to a tree covered in vines, located near the edge of a cliff.
The trail through the mountains remains the same.
After defeating the Violet Spider boss, continue up the hill until you come across a pathway leading to the Temple of the Yellow Flowers. Along the way, you will notice glowing vines on a tree near the start of the trail.
The area known as the Valley of Blooms remains unchanged.
The vines can only be found in a hidden area that is accessible after defeating the Venom Daoist in Chapter Four. The Venom Daoist can also be encountered again at the Temple of the Yellow Flower, where a second battle awaits.
Once you have completed this task, you will have access to the recently added Purple Cloud Mountain region. From there, your goal is to locate the Valley of Blooms Shrine. Once you reach the shrine, look for the vines by descending the ledge to your left.
Chapter Five
The area known as Marsh of the White Mist.
You can return to Shen Monkey near Marsh of the White Mist to purchase more of this vine after reaching Chapter Five.
The height of Ember remains unchanged.
Begin by traversing the area where you battled the Father of Stones boss at the Height of Ember Shrine. Continue down the pathway to your left until you reach the end of the trail. This will guide you to the desired item.
