The Wanderer can be located at six various spots throughout Fortnite, which include:

  • Coastal Comms
  • Estate Station
  • Placid Pumps
  • Cliffside Lodge
  • East of Nitrodrome
  • South of The Dam Bridge

Once you have reached any of these destinations, be sure to thoroughly explore the surrounding area. The Wanderer can usually be spotted moving quickly, but be careful not to approach too closely as he will vanish instantly. Unfortunately, this also means that there is currently no way to interact with this character.

Make sure not to get too close.

The fact that he is on the Island is most likely a hint at a significant event to come in the future. Epic is known for strategically placing clues and hidden messages that hint at upcoming events, so it can be assumed that The Wanderer will have a more significant role as the season progresses.

Who is The Wanderer

The Wanderer, a mysterious humanoid character, is believed to be the antagonist in Chapter 5 Season 3. This assumption is supported by the ‘Nitro Fusion Megalo Don’ loading screen, which depicts the ghostly figure standing with Megalo Don’s crew.

Megalo also acknowledges him as an ally in his radio broadcasts and warns his crew against peeking under his hood, stating that it would be a sight too overwhelming for small minds to handle.

The figure is always seen wearing a cloak and a hood, and it seems to have no tangible body. Approaching too closely will cause The Wanderer to suddenly disappear.

As you await the next development for the character, be sure to stay updated with Fortnite’s in-game storyline by finishing the Story and Weekly quests.
