The new dating show, ‘Love Undercover’, will feature five former footballers attempting to find love on Peacock.
To preserve their anonymity, the former football players will fly to Los Angeles to meet a selection of American women who are unaware of their true identities.
Below is everything you need to be aware of before the show premieres next month.
Which Footballers Are Featured on Love Undercover?
The five professional footballers participating in Love Undercover are Jamie O’Hara, Ryan Babel, Lloyd Jones, Marco Fabian, and Sebastian Fassi.
During the late 2000s, O’Hara from Tottenham and Babel from Liverpool were both notable players in the Premier League, making them familiar names for fans of English top-flight clubs.
Fabian was a member of the Mexico team that won the gold medal at the 2012 London Olympics. Meanwhile, Fassi is currently not affiliated with any club and his most recent team was CF La Nucia, a Spanish second division club.
Despite the trend, Jones stands out as the sole player who is currently a professional footballer. At the age of 28, he has already started 30 games for League One team Charlton, following his time at Liverpool from 2011 to 2018.

Retired Tottenham player O’Hara predicts potential chaos on the show, likening it to “Lionel Messi”, as the preview reveals that the celebrities will be taking on various backgrounds and careers.
In the guise of salesmen, contractors, and other professions, the footballers will discover if they can be loved for who they are, rather than their wealth or celebrity status.
