During the pre-timeskip period, Kashin Koji played a secretive role. Although his mission was to defeat Jigen, he could not openly oppose the leader of Kara. As a result, he maintained an enigmatic demeanor and concealed his actions from other members of the organization for the most part.

Despite infiltrating the Hidden Leaf Village and learning about Boruto’s Karma, he never shared this information with any Kara members. Fans only learned of his identity as a Jiraiya clone during his fight against Isshiki, as the Shinobi from Hidden Leaf Village were never made aware of it. This was especially evident in his actions throughout the series.

Since the timeskip, Kashin Koji has taken on the role of Boruto’s assistant and mentor, aiding him in his mission to defeat Code and the Divine Trees. Although he has not made any notable appearances in the manga, he has consistently provided support to the main character through the use of scientific ninja tools and has offered guidance on the necessary steps to take.

After his battle with Jigen, he gained the Shinjutsu ability Prescience, which enabled him to see all potential outcomes. As a result, he assumed a more passive role.

As expected, given his origins as a clone of Jiraiya, Kashin Koji possessed the ability to utilize all of Jiraiya’s ninjutsu, but on a larger scale. Like Jiraiya, he could perform various versions of Rasengan, summon toads, and utilize his hair for both offensive and defensive purposes. Furthermore, he was skilled in Space-Time Ninjutsu and was able to create seals to summon a constant, blazing natural fire known as the True Fire of Samadhi.

When it came to Senjutsu, Kashin Koji was significantly more skilled than Jiraiya. This was due to his ability to effortlessly tap into it, possessing a precise equilibrium of chakra and natural energy. This enabled him to enhance his physical and sensory capabilities.

After Kashin Koji’s battle with Jigen, he was able to fully utilize his Shinjutsu ability derived from Shibai Otsutsuki’s remains. Known as Prescience, this power allowed Koji to peer into all potential outcomes. Through this, he was able to deduce the abilities of Omnipotence and the truth that Boruto was Naruto’s son, rather than Kawaki.

With this capability, Kashin Koji assumed the position of Boruto’s mentor, imparting upon him all the skills he would acquire in the future and guiding him towards the most advantageous path for the preservation of the planet.
