In the early stages of the story, she frequently crosses paths with Kafka and Ichikawa due to their assignment to the same division. Kikoru’s demeanor may come across as haughty and self-assured, as she tends to hold a sense of superiority over those she deems beneath her.

This drive was only reinforced by her father’s constant expectations and support.

Undoubtedly, she displays prodigious abilities and consistently excels. However, beneath her exterior lies an intense longing for her parents’ validation and admiration, motivating her to constantly strive for improvement and earn their praise.
