The Boruto Two Blue Vortex manga has been making consistent progress, but Kawaki’s role has been somewhat lackluster so far in the series. His fighting skills have yet to make a strong impression, and he is also disregarded by the main character, whom he intends to eliminate in order to protect Naruto and the village.
With the monthly release of manga chapters, fans have plenty of time to spare and often use it to create various fan theories. These theories are then shared on social media platforms such as X.
A theory put forward by @Marcelpi3, a user on X platform, has captured the interest of the fan community. It delves into the speculated connection between Akebi and Kawaki in the manga.
Please be aware that this article contains major spoilers from the Two Blue Vortex manga chapters.
Fan theory connects Kawaki to Akebi in Boruto Two Blue Vortex
It has been some time since Akebi has been mentioned among fans. This is due to her being the daughter of Amado, who passed away early in the series. As a result, her appearances in the anime were quite limited.
Amado was determined to bring his beloved daughter back to life and delved deeply into the realm of science. He exhaustively utilized all available resources in his quest to resurrect her. Despite her suffering from an incurable illness, Amado attempted to generate a clone in order to provide his daughter with a fresh body. Unfortunately, Akebi passed away during the cloning procedure.
It may raise questions as to why Kawaki is included in this equation. The common factor between Kawaki and Akebi is Delta, who is Akebi’s clone and shares certain similarities with her.
A notable characteristic of Naruto’s adopted son is his unique hair color. He rocks an undercut style with blonde sides and back, while his top hair is black. Delta, who is not only a clone of Akebi but also one of the few characters with blonde hair, shares this distinct trait.
In addition, the timeline remains consistent. Akebi passed away 12 years prior to her introduction in the series. At that point in the story, Boruto was 12 years old and Kawaki was 14. It is plausible that Akebi died two years after giving birth to Naruto’s adopted son.
One intriguing scene in the anime occurs when Amado tasks Delta with a mission. He presents her with a handkerchief containing blood and requests that she determine if it belonged to Kawaki. Delta’s smile leaves fans uncertain about the outcome.
It is possible that the blood belonged to Akebi, and her smile may have indicated her realization of the connection between Kawaki and herself. In this scenario, it is likely that Akebi is his mother.
In addition, Delta consistently displays a strong focus on his well-being, as evidenced by his recent interaction with Boruto. As such, we encourage fans to patiently await future chapters of Boruto Two Blue Vortex to discover the potential connection between Delta and Akebi within the narrative.
