One of the most recognizable weapons in Call of Duty, which has been a popular choice in Warzone, has been somewhat neglected in recent weeks.
There are currently over 110 guns available in Warzone, inevitably resulting in a variety of sleeper weapons. In fact, players have recently brought attention to underrated options such as the Holger 26, Tempus Torrent, and MTZ-556.
Several of these sleeper choices are weapons that were once powerful in previous seasons but have been weakened to the point of being overlooked in the current meta. However, they have recently received minor enhancements that have made them viable options once again.
Although the M16 has not been significantly weakened, its JAK Patriot Conversion Kit version has fallen behind in comparison to other weapons since the beginning of Season 4. However, Warzone expert WhosImmortal is once again praising its capabilities.
“In his June 19 video, the YouTuber pointed out that the weapon has the best TTK out of all the meta Assault Rifles, even surpassing the Ranger up to 53 meters. This level of competitiveness is uncommon for a MW2 weapon.”
“Currently, the M16 equipped with the Aftermarket Part is performing at its peak, surpassing any previous versions and proving to be more formidable than ever before.”
- Muzzle: Casus Brake
- Lower barrel: Bruen Pivot Vertical Grip
- Magazine: 60-round mag
- Ammunition: 5.56 NATO High Grain
- Conversion Kit: JAK Patriot
According to WhosImmortal, the M16 has the second-highest TTK among all popular ARs in close range battles up to 15 meters, with a timing of 670 ms, only slightly behind the BP50.
Starting at 25 meters and up to fights further away, the M16 maintains its Time To Kill (TTK) as it only drops off after its next damage range, which is approximately 30 meters.
The CoD weapon, known for its iconic status, remains a formidable choice in Season 4, making it a must-have in players’ loadouts.
