During a conversation on her X account, former IZ*ONE Nako shared an anecdote about being approached by a guy. However, specific details of the encounter made it particularly interesting, causing the post to accumulate over 16 million views.

On May 11, Yabuki Nako used her X social media platform to recount a story about being confessed to by a stranger on the street.

She disclosed that a stranger had pursued her on the street and said:

“I’m not trying to pick you up or anything, but you’re my type.’ I was told like that, but is this not a flirting attempt?”

The 22-year-old star was already distressed, but what bothered her even more was being hit on while not wearing makeup and with her mask on.

“I guess it’s true. I wasn’t even wearing any makeup and I was wearing a mask. I was also wearing an outfit that didn’t look like I would be hit on. What a weirdo.”

Following an honest account of the events, his initial post quickly gained traction among Japanese internet users, amassing over 16.3 million views. In comparison, her second post reached approximately 1.6 million people.

Within the comments, there are individuals who playfully teased Nako while also praising her undeniable natural beauty, which was not diminished by wearing a mask.
