After Ryomen Sukuna left the domain, Itadori leaped towards him in an attempt to defeat him. Yuta also wanted to help, but Gojo was too exhausted to move and could only watch as the situation unfolded. Aoi’s Boogie Woogie proved to be a valuable ally for Itadori, allowing him to strike Sukuna with his newly acquired cursed technique.

The protagonist aimed his strike at the barrier separating Sukuna and Megumi’s body, causing a few of Sukuna’s fingers to emerge. However, the King of Curses swiftly devoured them, preventing Megumi’s soul from seizing control of his body once more.

The 263rd chapter of Jujutsu Kaisen began with Sukuna being launched out of the domain by Yuta’s Hollow Purple attack. Following suit, Yuta also emerged from the domain as Aoi and Itadori prepared to engage in battle. However, Gojo’s body had reached its breaking point and he collapsed, signifying that Yuta would be out of commission for some time.

Despite facing the formidable King of Curses, Aoi and Itadori refused to surrender and persevered in their battle. Itadori engaged in hand-to-hand combat with the King of Curses while Aoi provided support with his Boogie Woogie ability. In the midst of their fight, Itadori utilized the Dismantle aspect of his cursed technique Shrine to target the connection between Ryomen Sukuna and Megumi.

Despite Ryomen Sukuna’s attempt to weaken the bond between his soul and Megumi’s body by committing some of his fingers, he persisted in hitting the link. Sukuna fought on despite feeling ill and managed to keep the battle at a crucial point. Suddenly, Hana Kurusu emerged and unleashed a fully powered Jacob’s Ladder in hopes of finally defeating the ultimate antagonist.

In chapter 212 of Jujutsu Kaisen, Ryomen Sukuna used a Bidding Vow to take control of Itadori Yuji. He then impaled everyone and forced Megumi to swallow one of his fingers, effectively transferring hosts. To weaken Megumi’s connection to his body, Sukuna then took a bath, ultimately destroying any chance of the sorcerer surviving after using his body to kill his sister.

During the battle against Sukuna, Itadori was able to have a conversation with Megumi. Sadly, the sorcerer implored his friend to give up on trying to rescue him and simply allow him to perish. Based on the recent developments in the link between Sukuna and Megumi, it seems that Megumi will have to take on a more active role, not only for his own sake, but for the sake of the entire world.
