Why the Revelation of Kashin Koji’s Powers in Boruto May Make Amado a Legitimate Threat, Explained

The recent release of chapter 13 of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex has confirmed that Amado not only used Shibai’s remains to modify Code, Delta, and Daemon, but also his other cyborgs such as Kashin Koji, Delta, and Boro.

Regrettably, unlike the first three cyborgs, the last three did not exhibit a Shinjutsu after being modified. Instead, it was only when Kashin Koji was on the brink of death that his Prescience ability manifested.

While the focus of fans may shift to other cyborgs, it is important to pay attention to Amado. He has kept numerous secrets from the Hidden Leaf Village until this point, making it uncertain whether he will remain loyal to Konoha or betray it if necessary.

Please note: The following article contains spoilers from the Boruto: Two Blue Vortex manga.

Amado’s Potential Control Over Cyborgs in Boruto

A theory proposed by a Boruto fan on Reddit u/AwayReplacement7063 suggests that Amado may have had control over all cyborgs, with the exception of Jigen. This is supported by the fact that previous manga chapters revealed Amado possessed shutdown codes for both Kawaki and Delta, and Kashin Koji implied that Amado could deactivate him at any time. Thus, it is possible that Amado may have implemented a shutdown code for all cyborgs.

One can infer that Jigen did not possess a shutdown code due to Amado’s reliance on Kashin Koji and Konoha to defeat him. This suggests that implementing a shutdown code for Jigen was likely not a feasible option.

Despite this theory, it is still unclear why Amado chose to keep this crucial information from Konoha. It is evident that Code, Eida, and Daemon posed significant threats to the village, yet Amado refused to activate the shutdown codes for the cyborgs. One possible explanation for this decision could be Amado’s daughter, Akebi Sanzu.

According to Amado, he had joined forces with Jigen to bring back his daughter using karma. Therefore, Kawaki’s presence in Konoha and the Shinobi’s attention towards the cyborgs could potentially benefit him. This is because Amado required Kawaki’s karma to resurrect his daughter Akebi through the power of karma. Despite the chaos, this situation proved advantageous to him.

The most frightening aspect of all this is the potential for Amado to have been the one who triggered Omnipotence through Eida. Although Eida is the one who holds the Shinjutsu, the cyborg was unaware of its existence. It was only when the circumstances were right for Amado that the power was activated.

Further evidence that Amado is the one controlling the cyborgs is that the manga never explicitly showed the scientist being affected by Omnipotence. Although he told Sumire that he had discovered the Shinjutsu’s power through science, it could have been a deceitful attempt to conceal his involvement.

In addition, it should be acknowledged that Amado has experienced a smooth journey throughout the series. Immediately after Isshiki Otsutsuki’s defeat, Code released Eida and Daemon from their pods. While the manga suggested that Code’s actions were meant to find Amado, it never showed any danger to the scientist’s life. Therefore, although it may seem unlikely, there is a possibility that Amado has been the one controlling all cyborgs throughout this entire ordeal.
