Why This New Domino’s Store Doesn’t Sell Any Pizzas

Domino’s is renowned for its iconic pizza status, competing with major fast food chains in the US. However, it also has a unique location that offers something slightly distinct.

This year, Domino’s has been causing a stir. As part of their latest agreement, they promised their customers a full year of free pizza to mark their collaboration with Uber Eats.

Domino’s is so closely linked to pizza that it’s hard to imagine the chain serving anything else. However, at one particular location in Tokyo, they are replacing their signature dish with milkshakes.

On Tuesday, Domino’s Shake Stand Omotesando launched in the fashionable Omotesando district of Tokyo. Unlike the usual focus on pizza, this branch is solely dedicated to offering a variety of milkshake flavors such as Real Strawberry, Rich Chocolate, Tropical Coconut, and Happy Milk.

This Domino’s prioritizes milkshakes

Despite its renowned reputation, the Domino’s location in Japan has been in operation for a considerable period of time.

Domino’s proudly serves shakes that are prepared with milk and ice cream, without the addition of water. They ensure that their delightful, sweet taste remains consistent from the very first sip to the last, regardless of how slowly you may be savoring each sip.

Along with these varieties, the menu also features a few additional options, such as the limited edition “Omotesando Shake”flavors: Creamy Matcha, Fresh Peach, Rich Espresso, and Summer Lemon.

At present, Domino’s is in somewhat of a rivalry with another pizza brand that is highly competitive. In an epic troll campaign this summer, Pizza Hut declared themselves as the official sponsor of Domino’s.
