In their event plan, YG Entertainment was mentioned by Yuanta Securities, a securities firm in South Korea, for their fan meeting featuring BLACKPINK. As per Yuanta’s publicly disclosed plan, in addition to projects involving BABYMONSTER and TREASURE, BLACKPINK will hold 7 fan meetings in various Asian countries in 2024.
It should be noted that YG has included BLACKPINK’s fan meeting in their plan for the second quarter of 2024. This has caused fans to have doubts, considering that there are only three weeks remaining in the second quarter of 2024.
Despite international fans believing that the news of BLACKPINK holding fan meetings in the second quarter is incorrect, it is still believed that the group’s fan meetings across Asia were originally planned for the second quarter of this year. This suggests that the second quarter was likely a planning period and the events will be held at a later date. Therefore, it is highly possible that BLACKPINK’s fan meetings will commemorate their 8th debut anniversary on August 8, 2024.
