The highly anticipated Deadpool 3, also known as Deadpool & Wolverine, is soon to be released in theaters worldwide. Here’s the latest update on whether beloved characters Colossus and Negasonic Teenage Warhead will be making an appearance in the superhero sequel.
During the extensive production of Deadpool & Wolverine, there have been ongoing speculations about potential cameos, character reprisals, and their integration into the Marvel and Avengers timeline.
There has been a great deal of speculation surrounding Lady Deadpool, including discussions of a possible Spider-Man cameo and even confirmation of an appearance from It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
Despite some uncertainty surrounding their roles, fans have been curious about the involvement of two beloved superheroes from the first two Deadpool films. Here is an update on the potential appearances of Colossus and Negasonic Teenage Warhead in Deadpool 3.
Colossus and Negasonic Teenage Warhead are back
Both Colossus and Negasonic Teenage Warhead make an appearance in Deadpool & Wolverine once again.
The announcement of Stefan Kapicic returning to play Colossus was first reported in the trades in April 2023, so we have been aware of his participation for over a year. And wherever Colossus goes, it is likely that Negasonic Teenage Warhead will follow.
In 2023, it was officially announced during the Deadpool 3 premiere on July 22 that NTW actress Brianna Hildebrand had confirmed the use of profanity on the set of the now-Disney franchise.

During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter (shown in the video above), Hildebrand shared that she felt self-conscious while on set for some unknown reason. She was unsure of what she could or couldn’t say, which she found amusing considering how Ryan Reynolds was completely at ease and being himself. Ultimately, she didn’t believe it was a major issue.
What did they do in the first two movies?
In the middle of the first Deadpool movie, Colossus and his apprentice Negasonic Teenage Warhead intervene during the titular character’s fight with his enemy Ajax.
Although Colossus invites Deadpool to join the X-Men, Wade Wilson declines the offer as being part of a moralistic team goes against his personal style.
The pair later joins forces with Deadpool in his ultimate showdown against Ajax and Angel Dust, resulting in the trio emerging as the victors at the end of the film.
Colossus saves Wade Wilson from attempting suicide and brings him to the X-Mansion, successfully convincing Deadpool to join the team.
Accompanied by Negasonic Teenage Warhead, they quickly make their way to a location known as the ‘Mutant Re-education Center’ where a trouble-making young mutant named Russell Collins resides. However, their actions result in Colossus and Deadpool being apprehended and incarcerated in a facility known as the Ice Box.
Despite some shenanigans involving X-Force and the enemy-turned-ally Cable, the pair is ultimately able to escape. In the climactic battle, Colossus once again aids Deadpool, with Negasonic repairing Cable’s time-travel device so that Wade can save his beloved Vanessa by the end of the film.
