Helldivers 2 players have been wondering if the level cap will increase at some point.
The developers behind Helldivers 2 have confirmed that the level cap in the game will not remain stagnant, although a precise timeline is unknown.
Since the game’s release, the maximum level players could reach is Level 50, providing ample time to progress through everything the game has to offer.
However, that hasn’t stopped the community from wanting this to be increased to give them even more to explore.
Helldivers 2’s level cap will increase
A Helldivers 2 player took to the game’s official Discord to ask if the level cap was going to be increased at some point, and to his surprise, he got a response from the developer.
He later shared this on the game’s subreddit: “I requested a level cap increase – looks like it’s most likely on the way!»

He gives a screenshot of the developer’s response, which says they plan to increase the level cap, although they have no idea when that might happen.

The community is very happy with this news, with one user saying: “Increase it to 100 and make working from 50 to 100 a really slow progression like going from 25 to 50 in HD1.”»
However, even with this big news, there is no word on what the new level cap would be when it is increased.
Some fans are asking for something as small as five more levels, while others want a whole new batch of 50 levels to grind through.
Without an official timeline, however, there are still a lot of unknowns on this topic, and Helldivers 2 fans will have to continue to wait for more information.
